We view the fight against cancer as one of the most important challenges facing our society.
We want to encourage Poles to engage in oncology education and work together to promote health.
We combine the forces of healthcare, education, science, and social policy to fight cancer more effectively.
We address health inequalities and patient loneliness. Thanks to the knowledge of our experts and the commitment of our volunteers, we create a community of patients and doctors.
We support the development of the oncology care system in Poland and collaborate with organizations that—like us—aim to truly improve the situation for patients.
Knowledge and Responsibility
We view expert activity as an expression of civic responsibility. We understand the complexity of fighting cancer, which is why we combine expert activity with active public service and patient engagement.
We collaborate with scientific societies, research institutes, and experts in Poland and abroad, preparing analyses for the government, the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, local governments, and other institutions.
We work to improve oncology and family medicine education in medical schools – crucial for educating future medical personnel.
As a social partner, we support initiatives of the government, the Ministry of Health, and the National Health Fund that improve the effectiveness of cancer control in Poland.
Emancipation
We believe that effectively combating cancer requires collaboration across multiple disciplines. In addition to changes in the healthcare system, we recognize the need to strengthen the social position of people with cancer. We promote and support their demands.
We believe that in a modern, open society, there is more that unites people with cancer than divides them. Through public education, we initiate activities that help patients and their loved ones regain agency and voice in their fight against the disease.
International Collaboration
As a member of the European Cancer Leagues (ECL), we collaborate with partners from various countries and draw on their experience. We develop a network of international contacts and support European initiatives that make the fight against cancer a priority for healthcare systems.
